Barcelona striker Ferran Torres (26) has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year contract, according to L'Equipe. The 26-year-old centre-forward, who scored Spain’s winning goal in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina, has informed Barcelona of his intention to leave the Blaugrana one year before the expiry of his current deal.
PSG see Torres as the ideal multi-functional forward capable of fitting into Luis Enrique’s attacking setup. The Paris club are undergoing major changes in that department following the departures of Goncalo Ramos, Lee Kang-in and Randal Kolo Muani. Liverpool target Bradley Barcola could also move on, with the Reds prepared to offer €115m for the France international winger.
Torres could become PSG’s second signing of the summer after Maghnes Akliouche. Negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage between the back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners and the La Liga champions.
