NTPC Jobs 2026: There is good news for experienced engineers preparing for government jobs. NTPC, the country's largest power generation company, has issued a recruitment notification for the post of Deputy Manager. Which departments are hiring?
This recruitment drive by NTPC is for three key technical departments: Electrical, Mechanical, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I). All positions are at the Deputy Manager level, and experienced candidates will be appointed to these roles.
Who can apply?
A full-time BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline is mandatory for each post.
For the Deputy Manager (Electrical) post, candidates must hold a full-time BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
For the Deputy Manager (Mechanical) post, a full-time BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Production, Thermal, or a related engineering discipline is required.
For the Deputy Manager (C&I) post, candidates must possess a full-time BE/B.Tech degree in Instrumentation, Control & Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Relevant experience is also mandatory.

**What is the salary?**
Selected candidates will be appointed in the E-4 grade. The pay scale for this post is set at ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000 per month (IDA Pay Scale). Additionally, other allowances and benefits will be provided in accordance with NTPC rules.
