In response to student demand and with the aim of benefiting as many students as possible, the deadline for online applications for the Atul Maheshwari Scholarship Examination has been extended to August 20, 2026. The date was previously set for August 7. It is mandatory to fill in all the information requested in the application form.

The written examination for the scholarship will be conducted at designated centers across 95 cities. Students may select any city according to their convenience. Details regarding the examination center will be provided in the admit card sent via e-mail; therefore, possessing an e-mail ID is mandatory for every applicant.

**Eligibility Criteria**
This year, under the Atul Maheshwari Scholarship Examination, scholarships of ₹50,000 each will be awarded to 23 students from state board schools studying in classes 9 and 10, and scholarships of ₹75,000 each will be awarded to 23 students studying in classes 11 and 12. Only students studying in classes 9 through 12 under state education boards are eligible to apply, provided they secured a minimum of 60% marks in their previous annual examination and have an annual family income of less than ₹2 lakh. Students currently in class 8 or those who have already passed class 12 are not eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode.

More than one lakh students participated in the scholarship examination held in 2025, and a total of ₹28.8 lakh was distributed as scholarships among the 46 successful candidates.

**Documents Must Not Exceed 1 MB**
Applicants are required to upload a photograph, the mark sheet from the previous class, proof of residential address, and other necessary documents in the online application form. The documents to be uploaded must not exceed 1 MB in size; otherwise, the application will be rejected.

**Two Special Scholarships for Visually Impaired Students**
As in the previous year, special scholarships will be awarded to two visually impaired students this year as well. Such students are permitted to bring an assistant with them to the examination; the assistant must be a student from a grade lower than that of the candidate. The assistant must bring their school ID card.

One mobile number, one application
Students must ensure that only one form is filled out using a single mobile number. Applications will not be accepted if more than one form is submitted.
