Franchise Opened but Promises Were Allegedly Not Fulfilled

The complaint states that a franchise agreement with Style Quotient Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. was signed on August 3, 2018. The showroom was inaugurated on November 3, 2018, by actor Ayush Sharma instead of Salman Khan.

Gupta alleged that the promised promotional support never materialised. He further claimed that the company’s jewellery supply office shut down in February 2020, leading to a disruption in stock supply and eventually forcing the showroom to close. After failing to get relief, he approached Chandigarh Police in July 2021 before later moving the court.

Company Denies Salman Khan’s Direct Role

Responding to the allegations, Style Quotient Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. stated that Salman Khan had no direct involvement in the franchise agreement. The company said it had secured the licence to market Being Human Jewellery in 2015 and that all franchise operations were handled solely by the company.
