Mohamed Salah completes surprise Trabzonspor move after leaving Liverpool

Mohamed Salah has completed a surprise transfer to Turkish club Trabzonspor after departing Liverpool at the end of last season.
The Egypt winger has signed a two-year contract with the Süper Lig side, who won the league title in 2021/22 and lifted the Turkish Cup last season.
The 34-year-old had attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer, including Sporting Kansas City, but has decided to continue his career in Europe. Besiktas also attempted to sign him, though talks reportedly broke down over the financial structure of the agreement.
