If you are planning to travel by air in the coming days, this news is nothing short of a treat for you. IndiGo, the country's largest airline, has launched a fantastic offer for passengers to mark its 20th anniversary. Under this offer, the company will refund the fare for 20,000 domestic flight tickets. In other words, if luck is on your side, your air travel could be completely free.
The company has named this special campaign 'Happy IndiGo Day'. Passengers booking tickets between August 4 and August 6, 2026, are eligible for this offer. However, not every passenger will receive a refund; instead, the company will select 20,000 customers through a lucky draw.
Who can avail of this offer?
This offer is exclusively for those who book a domestic IndiGo flight between August 4 and August 6, 2026. It is important to note that the ticket must be booked via IndiGo's official website, mobile app, or AI virtual assistant. The offer will not apply if the ticket is purchased through a travel agency, online travel portal, or any other website.
How can one get a full refund on the ticket?
The company will randomly select 20,000 passengers from those who booked tickets during the offer period. Selected individuals will receive a message via email and WhatsApp, followed by a simple question. They will be given three attempts to provide the correct answer. If they answer correctly, the company will refund their ticket fare. However, the maximum refund limit is capped at ₹10,000 per PNR. This amount will be credited to the customer's account within 3 to 5 days.
Which tickets are eligible for this offer?
IndiGo has stated that this offer applies to bookings in both Economy Class and IndiGoStretch. Additionally, both one-way and return tickets are eligible for this offer. However, the offer will apply only to domestic flights.
