Mallika Sherawat is all set to make her debut in the world of OTT reality with the show, The Traitors Season 2. A few days ago, host Karan Johar made a grand announcement about the second season, The Traitors, and revealed the names of 21 contestants of the show. Mallika Sherawat, who ruled the big screens in the mid-2000 with her sensuous roles in films like Khwaaish, Murder and others, recently confessed that she is the highest paid contestant of the Karan Johar-hosted show. She also explained why she can’t do Bigg Boss.

 

In an interview with Etimes,   reacted to the reports about her being the highest-paid contestant on  . When asked about the same, the Murder actress said that the speculations are right. She further stated that she knows her worth.

She doesn’t feel apologetic about it. Mallika feels people who say money is never the reason are lying. She calls it important to pay the bills and maintain the lifestyle. The diva said, “Yes, I know my worth, and I won’t work for a fiddly amount. I won’t even lift my finger out of bed for that. This is my message to every girl and every boy—know your worth. Don’t settle for less. Trust me, if they want you, they will pay you.” Mallika also called herself a self-made woman.

For the unversed, Mallika Sherawat had done a reality show before. She had appeared in The Bachelorette India: Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika.

 

Before The Traitors 2, Mallika Sherawat was also approached for several reality shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi and . While speaking about rejecting the Salman Khan-hosted show, the actress said that the format doesn’t appeal to her. She doesn’t feel she can bring any value to the show as an actor. “If there is something I don’t want to do, then no. I have enough money. I’ve been very sensible with money, and I’m well taken care of. I don’t have to work to earn money. Money works for me now.”

 

The Traitors 2 will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from August 13. The episodes will drop every Thursday. Apart from Mallika Sherawat, the show also has Rhea Chakraborty, Munawar Faruqui, Krystle D’Souza, Parul Gulati, Ranveer Brar, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Abhishek Malhan, Shalini Passi, Shweta Tiwari, Ansh Chopra and others as contestants.
