Two Manchester United players now appear set to leave the club this summer.

Manchester United have struck an agreement to send goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to La Liga outfit Celta Vigo, according to a recent transfer report.

The 28-year-old Turkey international is expected to complete a season-long loan switch to Spain after seeing first-team chances remain limited at Old Trafford.

Celta Vigo manager Claudio Giraldez has reportedly made Bayindir his top choice to bolster the goalkeeping department and offer direct competition to Andrei Radu.

The two clubs are understood to have settled the terms of the loan, with paperwork and medical formalities still to be completed before Bayindir officially links up with his new side in Spain.

Bayindir joined Manchester United in September 2023 from Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce in a transfer worth around £4.3 million (€5m).

However, his three years in England turned into a frustrating spell as he failed to nail down a regular starting place and also made a small number of costly high-profile mistakes.

Over the course of his Manchester United career, Bayindir featured only 17 times in all competitions. During his first two seasons, he was largely used as deputy to Andre Onana, before later filling a similar back-up role behind Senne Lammens.

In spite of a few chances here and there, Bayindir's route to consistent game time was effectively shut off, apart from a short spell at the start of last season under Ruben Amorim.

The signing of former Leeds United goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer has pushed him even further down the pecking order. With 40-year-old experienced campaigner Tom Heaton also available as cover, Bayindir is heading for the exit.

Meanwhile, out-of-favour striker Joshua Zirkzee could make a move to Juventus, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

It is understood that the player's representatives are in discussions with the Italian giants, while talks between the two clubs have also begun.

Zirkzee arrived at the Red Devils from Serie A side Bologna two summers ago, but has scored only nine goals in 75 appearances.

A loan deal for the forward is considered the most likely agreement between the clubs, given that Zirkzee's contract at Old Trafford runs until June 2029.
