Dhoot Transmission’s IPO to hit the market on August 10

 The initial public offering (IPO) of automotive components company Dhoot Transmission Limited will open to investors on August 10, 2026. The company has set a price band of ₹829 to ₹871 per equity share. The deadline for bidding in the IPO will be August 12, 2026, while bidding for anchor investors will open on August 7.

The company’s IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to ₹1,400 crore (approximately $1.4 billion). It also includes an offer for sale of up to 19,137,602 equity shares by existing shareholders. BC Asia Investments XV Limited may sell up to 16,018,769 shares, and Mangalam Capital Private Limited, a promoter group company, may sell up to 31,18,833 shares.

Investors will be able to bid for a minimum of 17 equity shares, and in multiples of 17 shares thereafter. Consequently, the minimum investment at the upper price band will be ₹14,807. According to the company, the floor price of ₹829 represents 414.50 times the face value of ₹2 per share, while the cap price of ₹871 represents 435.50 times the face value. 

The IPO also includes a discount of ₹80 per share for eligible employees. The Company’s weighted average return on net worth over the past three financial years has been 27.06%. The IPO is being conducted through a book building process. A maximum of 50% of the net offer will be available to qualified institutional buyers. The book running lead manager process and allocation for the Company’s IPO will be in accordance with SEBI regulations. The capital raised through the IPO will be used to fund the Company’s stated business needs and growth plans.
