On the transfer front, there is still no shortage of major developments, with sporting directors continuing to work on arrivals and exits to complete their squads. Here are the most important updates involving Serie A’s biggest clubs.

Juventus remain active in the market after officially confirming the signings of Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegovic. According to Sky Sport, the two names still leading the club’s shortlist are Mateo Pellegrino and Joshua Zirkzee. Both are viewed as ideal options to complete the attack, thanks both to their technical qualities and their room for development.

What still needs to be settled is the formula that could allow the Bianconeri to complete one of the two operations. In Zirkzee’s case, the situation appears more favourable: United have reportedly opened the door to a loan deal with an option to buy. The picture is different for Pellegrino, though. Before making a concrete move, Juventus will first need to understand Parma’s stance.

Santiago Gimenez’s spell in a Milan shirt could already be approaching its conclusion. Having arrived in Milan in February 2025 with the objective of strengthening the Rossoneri attack, the striker has never managed to deliver at the expected level. After many opportunities without truly leaving his mark, Milan have reportedly decided to place him on the market.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Porto have renewed their interest in Gimenez in recent hours. Fresh contacts with the Rossoneri are expected as the Portuguese club try to assess whether a deal is possible. Francesco Farioli is pushing for the move, viewing the striker as a priority target and ready to do everything possible to bring him to Portugal.

Inter’s transfer business is entering a crucial stage. With fewer than twenty days left before the start of the league campaign, the Nerazzurri hierarchy are still working to complete the squad that will be handed to Cristian Chivu. According to fcinter1908.it, the aim is to secure at least two new signings for the coach.

In that context, an important update concerns Asllani. The midfielder would prefer to continue his career in Europe, but he has also opened the door to a move to Al Ittihad as a partial counterpart in a deal that would take Moussa Diaby to Inter. There is still one major obstacle, however: the French winger currently earns €15 million per season.

Napoli continue to work on incomings, but also and above all on outgoings. One of the players who is very unlikely to be part of Max Allegri’s squad is Noa Lang. According to Dutch outlet Voetbal International, Ajax are monitoring the situation involving the former PSV winger very closely.

At present, Napoli would be willing to let Lang leave on loan with an option to buy, which would become an obligation under certain conditions. At the same time, Ajax first need to resolve another matter, namely the one concerning Godts, who appears very close to PSG.

Roma are still working to strengthen the left side of their attack. After failed attempts for Greenwood and Summerville, the main target for the Giallorossi management and Gasperini remains Antonio Nusa. The talks with Leipzig, however, look complicated. The German club value the Norwegian winger at around €60 million and, despite the player being open to the transfer, do not seem prepared to lower their demands.

According to TuttomercatoWeb, one of the alternative profiles under consideration is Nico Gonzalez. The Argentine has reportedly been offered to both Roma and Inter, but the capital club are not fully convinced by the move at this stage. Gasperini is in fact looking for a right-footed winger capable of cutting inside and attacking the goal.

Lazio continue to work in the market to reinforce their defence and have reportedly identified Ibe Hautekiet as one of their main targets. According to Corriere dello Sport, the player has already given the green light to a move to the Biancocelesti. The main issue concerns the formula: Lazio are still pushing for a loan with an option to buy, which could later become an obligation under certain conditions.

Standard, however, are not prepared to let the defender leave under those terms. Hautekiet is under contract with the club until 2029 and, after collecting €12.8 million from summer sales, the club are under no particular pressure to sell. For that reason, the Belgian side would only be willing to let the player go on a permanent transfer.

Franco Mastantuono is getting closer and closer to Fiorentina. The Argentine talent continues to train separately at the Valdebebas training centre while waiting for his loan move to La Viola to be made official. As reported by Marca, the deal is now in its final phase and Fiorentina and Real Madrid are working through the last details of the agreement, with particular attention on how the salary will be divided.

Mastantuono has reportedly already approved the move after talks with Fabio Grosso and Fabio Paratici, having been convinced by a technical project that would guarantee him more playing time and continuity than he would have had at Real Madrid. Fiorentina were the first club to make a concrete move for the player on loan, beating competition from other Italian clubs.
