A decline in gold prices is being observed across the country. Prices have dropped in most cities on the first Monday of the holy month of Sawan. On the morning of August 3, the price of 24-carat gold in the capital, Delhi, fell to ₹1,44,360 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the price stands at ₹1,44,210 per 10 grams. Over the past week, the price of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹710, while the rate for 22-carat gold has come down by ₹750.

According to Reuters, the price of spot gold has risen in the international market, reaching $4,067.06 per ounce. This increase follows US President Donald Trump expressing hope for an early agreement with Iran and deciding to postpone any new attacks; these developments have somewhat eased concerns regarding inflation and high interest rates.

Gold price in Delhi: The price of 24-carat gold in Delhi is ₹1,44,360 per 10 grams, while the rate for 22-carat gold is ₹1,32,240 per 10 grams.

Mumbai and Kolkata: In Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 22-carat gold is ₹1,32,190 per 10 grams, and the price of 24-carat gold is ₹1,44,210 per 10 grams.

Gold price in Chennai: The price of 24-carat gold is ₹1,44,600 per 10 grams, and the rate for 22-carat gold is ₹1,32,550 per 10 grams.
