Normal blood pressure ranges by age
18 to 29 years
Normal BP: 110/70 to 120/80 mmHg
At this age, it is easy to maintain normal BP through regular exercise and balanced diet.
30 to 39 years
Normal BP: 110/70 to 122/82 mmHg
Job stress, irregular routine and increasing weight can affect BP, so get it checked from time to time.
40 to 49 years
Normal BP: 115/75 to 125/83 mmHg
The risk of high blood pressure increases at this age. Eat less salt and exercise daily.
50 to 59 years
Normal BP: 118/78 to 130/85 mmHg
Paying special attention to blood pressure is essential to protect your heart and kidneys. Get regular health checkups.
60 years and above
Normal BP: 120/80 to 135/85 mmHg (Doctors may set different targets for some people.)
At this age, it is very important to control BP through medicines and lifestyle.
