Reliance Jio’s new GeoTag 2: A smarter way to find keys and luggage

If you often find yourself forgetting your keys, bags, or other important items, Reliance Jio has a new solution for you. The company has launched JioTag 2 in India, an upgrade to its first version. It features several improvements that make it even more useful. Most importantly, it’s now compatible with both major mobile platforms.

Price and availability

The JioTag 2 is priced at ₹1,249 and is available in black, red, and green. Customers can avail up to ₹50 off when paying with select bank cards, bringing its effective price to ₹1,199. It is currently available for purchase on Amazon India.

Design and safety

This new version features an improved design, a new shape, and a polycarbonate exterior. Furthermore, it comes with IP64 certification for dust and water resistance, further enhancing its durability.

Features and functionality

The GeoTag 2’s biggest advantage is its wide compatibility. The previous model didn’t work with both major mobile systems, but now it can be used with both iPhone and Android. Additionally, it features a 120-decibel speaker, which helps locate items. If the item is within Bluetooth range, it emits a loud sound.

Smart Tracking

The device also works with the Google Find Hub and Apple Find My networks. These services allow users to view the location of their tagged items in near-real time, making it easier to find lost items while traveling or in everyday life.

Demand for item tracking devices has surged in recent years. Previously, these products were limited to high-end options, but now domestic companies are also offering such devices at affordable prices.
