Lava Smartphone India: Lava has started the first sale of its new budget smartphones, the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 (4G). Launched last week, both smartphones are now available for purchase on Flipkart and the company’s official website. The launch offer offers discount both phones by up to ₹1,000 from their original price. So, if you’re looking for a smartphone with a large battery, AI camera, and a powerful display, this could be a good option.

Up to ₹1,000 discount available in the first sale

The Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 will go on sale today at 12 noon. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Lava Virat V1 5G is priced at ₹12,999, but the introductory offer is available for ₹11,999. The same variant of the Lava Virat V1 (4G) is available for ₹8,999 instead of ₹9,999. The 5G model comes in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold colors, while the 4G variant can be purchased in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver. Additionally, customers can avail EMI and exchange offers starting at ₹294 per month on Flipkart.

6.75-inch Display and AI Camera Power

Both smartphones feature a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This feature is considered crucial for better scrolling and a smoother experience. For photography, both devices feature an AI-powered dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor. A 5MP front camera is available for selfies and video calling. The phones also come with an IP64 rating, making them dust and water resistant.

6000mAh battery and 5G support remain special

The Lava Virat V1 5G is powered by a Unisoc T8200 processor and runs on Android 16. The Lava Virat V1 (4G) features a Unisoc SC9863A chipset and Android 15 Go Edition. Both phones have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Memory can be expanded up to 8GB via virtual RAM, while storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Speaking of battery, the Lava Virat V1 5G has a larger 6,000mAh battery, while the Virat V1 4G has a 5,000mAh battery. Both smartphones support 10W charging. This combination of large battery and 5G connectivity makes these phones quite attractive in the budget segment.
