Lucknow. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati has once again taken strong action against Ashok Siddharth, the father-in-law of her nephew Akash Anand, expelling him from the party. She made it clear that Ashok Siddharth will not be allowed to return to the party under any circumstances in the future.
With this action, Mayawati also expelled Randhir Singh Beniwal from the party. Beniwal, who served as the party’s coordinator, was responsible for Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
This is the second time in the last one and a half years that Ashok Siddharth has been expelled from the BSP. Previously, he was expelled from the party on February 12, 2025, due to allegations of factionalism within the organization. However, he was reinstated into the organization approximately six months later in September 2025.
Recently, Ashok Siddhartha was in charge of several states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Delhi. On Saturday, Mayawati first relieved him of his responsibilities in all these states and then decided to expel him from the party.
Mayawati’s decision is being seen as a sign of organizational discipline and leadership tightening. The party has also indicated that no compromise will be tolerated at any level regarding anti-organization activities or indiscipline.
