Lucknow. The monsoon is set to become fully active in Uttar Pradesh once again. According to the latest forecast from the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected in most parts of the state between August 1 and 7. Heavy rainfall alerts have been issued for several locations in eastern Uttar Pradesh, while heavy rain is also expected in some districts of western Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, people have been advised to exercise weather caution.
The weather will change from August 2
According to the Meteorological Department, some areas of western Uttar Pradesh may see light rain, while many districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience light to moderate rain. Rainfall activity will intensify from August 2nd, and widespread rainfall may begin in most areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Heavy rain from August 3 to 7
According to forecasts, the monsoon will be fully active in both western and eastern Uttar Pradesh from August 3rd to August 7th. During this period, many districts may experience continuous rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Waterlogging and traffic disruptions are also expected in many areas.

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for several districts in eastern Uttar Pradesh between August 2 and 6. Heavy rain is expected in parts of western Uttar Pradesh between August 3 and 5. Local administrations have also been instructed to monitor weather conditions and take necessary action if needed.
Relief for farmers, but caution
The continuous rain is expected to benefit rice, maize, and other Kharif crops. However, in areas where excessive rainfall occurs, waterlogging may occur. Farmers have been advised to monitor the latest weather updates while conducting their farming activities.
