Pakistan batsman Shan Masood, who scored a century in the first Test, has been ruled out of the second cricket Test against the West Indies due to a fracture in his left index finger.
Pakistan lost the first Test in Trinidad by 90 runs. Left-handed batsman Masood scored a century in the first innings of that match.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement that the finger injury was detected after scans and other tests. The Pakistan medical panel is treating him.
Masood was removed from the captaincy before this series. He was injured in the first innings when a short-pitched ball from fast bowler Jaden Seals struck his finger. He then went on to score his seventh Test century.
