Skoda Slavia Facelift 2026 : Skoda Auto is preparing to launch the facelift model of its popular midsize sedan Slavia in the Indian market. The company may introduce the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift next month. This sedan coming with new updates is ready to give tough competition to cars like Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus and Hyundai Verna.

Looks more modern than the model

Many major changes can be seen in the new Slavia facelift, from design to features. It is expected to get a new front design, updated grille, LED lighting elements and many cosmetic updates. The company’s focus will be on giving the car a more premium and attractive look, which will make it look more modern than the current model.

Front and rear bumpers with alloy wheels

According to possible information revealed by reports and test mules, the new Slavia may be given a newly designed grille, which may include integrated lighting elements. Apart from this, updated LED headlamps, new designed tail lamps, changed front and rear bumpers along with new alloy wheels can also be seen.

6 Airbags and Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Talking about the interior, the cabin of the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift may be more premium than before. Although not much change is expected in the dashboard layout, but it can be given a large 10.25 inch digital driver display like the Skoda Kushaq. Apart from this, new seat upholstery, front parking sensors and already existing safety features like 6 airbags and tire pressure monitoring system can be retained.

The new Slavia is likely to have many features to comfort and technology. It is also discussed that the company may include features like rear seat massage function in it like Kushaq, although this will be confirmed only at the time of launch.

150 HP 1.5 liter TSI turbo petrol engine

Talking about mechanical changes, the existing engine options may continue in the Slavia facelift. It is expected to get a 1.0 liter TSI petrol engine with 115 horsepower and a 1.5 liter TSI turbo petrol engine with 150 horsepower.

TSI engine with 7-speed DCT gearbox

The biggest update can be seen in the transmission. The existing 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox offered with the 1.0 liter TSI engine may be replaced by a new 8-speed automatic unit, which was recently introduced in the Kushaq facelift. At the same time, the option of 7-speed DCT gearbox is likely to continue with the 1.5 liter TSI engine.

More premium options for customers

Overall, efforts will be made to improve the design, features and driving experience in the new Skoda Slavia facelift. This updated sedan is set to strengthen its hold in the Indian midsize sedan segment and offer more premium options to customers.
