Karishma Tanna and her husband Varun Bangera have joyfully announced the arrival of their first child. The couple shared this delightful news via a joint post on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing that their son was born a day prior.
In their heartfelt caption, they highlighted the significance of the date, noting that the birth coincided with Guru Purnima, and referred to their baby as their "greatest blessing," concluding with the joyful announcement, "It’s a boy!"
Friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry quickly flooded the comments with warm wishes. Vikrant Massey extended his congratulations, while Rakul Preet Singh expressed her happiness for the new parents.
Karishma had first revealed her pregnancy in April, sharing adorable photos with Varun featuring tiny baby shoes and caps that read "Mom" and "Dad." Initially, they had anticipated an August arrival, making their son’s early debut a delightful surprise.
On the professional front, Karishma is currently filming Mom 2, which has been in production since March. She stars alongside Jisshu Sengupta in this sequel produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Girish Kohli, continuing the narrative from Sridevi’s acclaimed original. Karishma's role follows her successful performance in the series Scoop. Varun, on the other hand, is involved in the real estate sector in Mumbai with VB Corp.
The couple tied the knot on February 5, 2022, and now embark on this exciting new journey as parents to their son.
