In a recent report, talkSPORT said that Manchester United have marked Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams as a target for this summer transfer window. It has also been stated that the Red Devils are interested in bringing in the United States talent in this off-season.

Adams had a strong campaign for the English club, as he put together a series of impressive performances in the middle of the park. The 27-year-old scored two goals and provided two assists in 26 matches for the Cherries last season across different competitions.

The United States talent is now one of the most valuable players in Bournemouth’s squad. As a result, Man United would do well to tempt him to Old Trafford in this transfer window.

His present contract at the Vitality Stadium runs until the summer of 2028, which could make it hard for the Red Devils to land him on a bargain deal this off-season.

Adams is strong in the tackle and reads danger well to win the ball back for his side in his own half. He usually drives the ball clear when required and is also a neat passer.

The United States star can also add goals and assists from midfield when needed. Adams is mainly a defensive midfielder, but he can also operate as a right-back or as a right-sided wide player if asked. He is already very familiar with the Premier League and should not need much time to settle at Man United.

We can expect Adams to improve the overall quality of Michael Carrick’s midfield. He has the ability to compete for a regular starting place at the Theatre of Dreams next season.

At 27, Adams still has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a sensible option for the Red Devils to think about in this transfer window. He would also help the Mancunian giants compete on all fronts over the next few years. Taking everything into account, Carrick would be wise to move for a player with Adams’ skill set before this transfer period ends.
