Raipur. An important initiative has been taken towards presenting the rich tribal culture, social traditions and new picture of the rapidly changing Bastar at the national level. For this purpose, a delegation of a total of 164 people including Pargana Manjhi of Bastar, Chalaki, community head, famous tribal youth artists associated with Bastar Pandum-2026, society representatives and Padmashree awardees, has left for Delhi.

This delegation will meet the President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu during a program organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 30 July 2026. On this occasion, the representatives will give information to the President about the glorious folk culture, traditional social system, customs and tribal life values ​​of Bastar.

The members of the delegation will also present the message to President Draupadi Murmu that Bastar is no longer known only by the challenges of the past.
