With just two days remaining until the voting for the Bankipur assembly by-election in Bihar, former Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar has made an appeal to voters to support the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate, Neeraj Kumar Sinha. In a crucial video message released on Monday, Kumar encouraged voters to cast their ballots in favor of the NDA candidate, emphasizing that every vote will play a significant role in advancing Bihar's development journey. The voting for the Bankipur assembly by-election is scheduled for July 30.

Addressing the residents of Bankipur, Nitish Kumar highlighted the achievements of his government over the past two decades. He stated, "With the trust, support, and blessings of the people, our government has worked diligently for good governance, justice, and development." While urging support for the NDA candidate, he added, "To maintain the pace of Bihar's development and fulfill the commitment of creating a developed Bihar, every single vote is crucial. I appeal to all voters to bless the young NDA candidate, Neeraj Kumar Sinha, and ensure his victory by a large margin."

Supporting Sinha's candidacy, Nitin Naveen expressed confidence that when NDA workers and supporters head to the polls on July 30, Neeraj Sinha's victory will set a new record. He introduced a candidate who was once an ordinary BJP worker, having started his political journey as a booth president, later serving as a mandal president, and now contesting as the candidate for the BJP and NDA alliance.

The Bankipur assembly seat became vacant following the election of five-time MLA Nitin Naveen to the Lok Sabha. This by-election is being closely watched as a significant political test for both the ruling NDA and the opposition ahead of the Bihar assembly elections.
