HNCII Awareness Campaign on World Head and Neck Cancer Day! Timely diagnosis can save lives

The objective of this campaign is to encourage citizens to recognize possible symptoms of cancer, seek medical advice without delay, get necessary tests done and start treatment immediately if cancer is diagnosed. Bringing together all such partners will create an effective network needed for awareness, early diagnosis and timely referral of patients to the right specialists.”

Through awareness programs, community oriented activities, informational materials, digital media communication and coordination with healthcare professionals, HNCII strives to reach the message “Delay is the real danger in cancer” to every household and every strata of society across the country. The long-term goal is to change the way in which almost 70% of patients are treated at an advanced stage today, and to diagnose and treat the majority of patients at an early stage.
