Shreyas Iyer couldn't hide his smile after India completed a clinical 3-0 sweep over Zimbabwe, and for good reason. It was his first series win as India's T20I captain, and he made sure to give credit where it was due.

"Special moment for me," Iyer said after the 35-run victory in the third T20I at Harare. "The way the boys showed their fearlessness and energy, especially in back-to-back games, is exactly what I need as a captain."

India posted 192/5, powered by 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's dazzling 81 off 49 balls, with able support from Ishan Kishan, Iyer himself, and Rinku Singh. In reply, Zimbabwe could only manage 157/7, despite Ryan Burl's unbeaten 54. Yash Thakur struck with the very first ball of the chase, while Mayank Yadav finished with impressive figures of 3/29.

When asked about his leadership approach, Iyer downplayed his seniority. "I've played a similar number of matches as many of them around 55 to 60. Experience-wise, there are plenty of players who've learned a lot from the IPL," he said. "My job is to make sure they're comfortable and relaxed. That's when you get the best out of them."

For Iyer, this sweep isn't just about the trophy; it's about building a culture of freedom, fearlessness, and trust.
