Material

  • Fresh cranberries – 250 grams
  • Green chillies-8-10 (as per taste)
  • Garlic cloves-8-10
  • Ginger-1 small piece
  • Green coriander-½ cup
  • Mint leaves-8-10
  • Roasted cumin powder-1 tsp
  • Black salt-½ tsp
  • common salt-as per taste
  • Lemon juice-1 tsp

Method

First of all, wash the cranberries thoroughly, cut them in half and remove their seeds. Now add chopped cranberries, green chillies, garlic, ginger, green coriander and mint in the mixer jar. Add roasted cumin, black salt and common salt as per taste.

Now grind all the ingredients without adding much water. If needed, you can add one or two spoons of water.

When the chutney becomes soft, add a little lemon juice to it and blend it lightly once again. Your fresh and delicious cranberry chutney is ready.

Cranberry chutney can be served with paratha, dal-rice, puri, pakodas, samosas, cheela, dhokla or sandwiches. Its sour and spicy taste enhances the taste of even ordinary food many times.
