Rice Pakodas: There is an old saying in our country that food should be cooked so much that something is left over, but it should not be reduced. This is why avoiding food is common in most homes. Especially the avoidance of rice is even more common. It is not appropriate to throw away food grains in this era of inflation. In such a situation, we are going to tell you a great recipe, by which you can make delicious pakodas from leftover rice in just a few minutes. Come, let us know how to make it.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1.25 cups leftover cooked rice
  • 2 spoons curd (it is better if it is slightly sour)
  • 4.5 teaspoon gram flour
  • salt as per taste
  • a pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red chilli
  • 1.5 teaspoon chopped coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1.5 teaspoon chopped green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh coriander
  • Oil for frying (coconut, mustard or refined)

Method to make Crunchy Pakodas:

  • Add the remaining rice to a large bowl and mix well with a spoon.
  • Now add chopped green chillies, ginger and fresh coriander to it.
  • Then add gram flour, curd and all the dry spices and mix well.
  • If the mixture is too thin, add a little more gram flour.
  • Leave it for a few hours, but if you want to make pakodas immediately, you can make them.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Make the mixture into round shapes and fry them in oil on medium flame until they become golden and crispy.
  • Take out the pakodas and place them on tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  • Serve them with coriander chutney or ketchup.
