By scoring 219 runs in Harare, India scored 200+ for the 52nd time in T20 International. South Africa, which is at second place, has 29 such scores. With this the team also equaled its own record of scoring the highest score of 200+ in a calendar year.

The target of 220 runs was difficult for Zimbabwe from the beginning. Abhishek Sharma broke the back of the host team by taking three wickets. Prince Yadav and Yash Thakur made the victory easy by taking two wickets each. The entire Zimbabwe team was reduced to just 129 runs in 17.5 overs.
