Experts, media and fans always keep a close eye on the performance of the Indian team. There is discussion about how which player is playing and how much he is contributing on the field. In recent times, the team has been criticized a lot after the defeats against Ireland and England. But at present, the fitness of the players has become a cause of concern more than the performance of the team. Many players are getting injured one by one. A new name has been added to this list of young fast bowler Prince Yadav, who got injured during the second match against Zimbabwe.

This accident happened with Prince Yadav in the second match of India-Zimbabwe T20 series. In this match, the Indian team batted first and scored a tremendous score of 219 runs. After this, when it came to bowling, Team India faced some difficulty in the beginning because Brian Bennett attacked as soon as he came. But then new bowler Yash Thakur gave India its first success by dismissing him, after which Prince Yadav's turn came and he took 2 wickets.

Prince got injured after taking the wicket

This was only the second wicket of Prince Yadav, after which he got injured. Prince dismissed Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza on the second ball of the seventh over of the innings. Then when Prince started running to bowl the first ball to the new batsman, he felt some discomfort in his leg, after which he stopped in the middle of the run-up. The wrinkle of pain was clearly visible on his face. From his body language it seemed that he too had suffered a hamstring injury.

Prince Yadav had to leave his over midway and return to the dressing room, after which Shivam Dubey bowled the remaining 4 balls of this over. Overall Prince bowled 8 balls in this match. But his injury has now become a matter of concern for the Indian team management because he has become the third Indian player to get injured in the last two weeks. Before him, Harshit Rana and Washington Sundar had suffered injuries during the England tour and they will not be able to return to cricket action for the next few weeks.

Fitness of players under question

Yadav's injury is also troubling because this is only his 9th match in his nearly 40-day-old international career and despite playing so few matches, he became a victim of a hamstring injury. This has also put his fitness and the medical team of the Center of Excellence (CoE) under question. Let us tell you that in a recent report it was revealed that BCCI is very angry with the continuously increasing injuries of many players of the team.
