There was anger among the family members after a 35-year-old youth died during treatment in a private hospital in Biswan town. The family members have accused the doctor of being negligent in treatment and not referring him to a higher center in time despite his serious condition.
According to the information, Sunita’s wife Chhotalal Bhargava, resident of village Kotra, police station Biswan, informed the police that her husband Chhotalal Bhargava (35) was admitted to Sita Hospital in Mohalla Shankarganj for the treatment of jaundice. He died during treatment on Friday.
The relatives of the deceased allege that the patient’s condition continued to deteriorate, but the hospital administration did not refer him for better treatment in time, due to which he lost his life. The hospital administration says that in view of the serious condition of the patient, he was advised to be shifted to a bigger hospital a day in advance.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and after processing the Panchayatnama, sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem. According to the police, necessary legal action is being taken in the matter. The law and order situation is completely normal and no untoward incident has been reported.
Police say that further legal action will be taken on the basis of post-mortem report and facts revealed in the investigation.
