Bhopal News: The brutality of a police constable in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, has put the khaki uniform of the entire city to shame. The accused is accused of raping a minor girl inside a car. Another policeman helped him.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A very shocking incident has come to light from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Here a policeman has been accused of raping a minor girl with the help of his own colleague. The incident took place on July 22 in Jahangirabad police station area.

Policemen raped girl inside the car

The matter came to light when the victim lodged a police complaint on July 23. According to Additional Commissioner of Police (Addl. CP) Shailendra Singh Chauhan, the victim told that two people associated with the police department forcibly made her sit in the car. After this they took her to a place, where one of them raped her.
Chauhan told ANI, "A complainant reached the police station on July 23 and said that two men took her to a place in a car and raped her, and both are associated with the police department."

Both policemen arrested after revelations

Police officer Chauhan further said, "According to the victim, she lodged a complaint the next day of the incident. As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police immediately registered a case under relevant sections and both the accused have been taken into custody."
Following the complaint, the authorities have registered a case under the Indian Justice Code (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Police said that both the accused policemen have been taken into custody and further investigation of the case is going on.
