Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited (MFRL) is thrilled to announce that the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026 Time Trials will take place in Delhi from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at the Bharat Mandapam. This event is part of India's largest motorsport talent search.
The initiative aims to identify India's next Formula 1 racer, providing a platform for aspiring drivers to showcase their speed, precision, and racing skills as they embark on a journey into professional motorsport. This is the first event of its kind to be held in Delhi.

As conversations about the return of Formula 1 to India continue, Mumbai Falcons Racing is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of motorsport talent. The Delhi Time Trials are a key component of MFRL's nationwide talent scouting initiative, the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026, and the 'One in a Billion Hunt-Agla Star'.
With over 7 million residents aged 8 to 25, Delhi presents an ideal opportunity to engage young enthusiasts and promote the F1 platform. The surrounding NCR region will also contribute a significant number of participants.
Rewards and Development Opportunities
The F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026 offers aspiring racers the chance to compete on high-quality simulators, paving their way into competitive motorsport. The competition boasts a total prize pool of ₹2 crore, with the winner earning a spot in Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited's One in a Billion Hunt, which includes a ₹3 crore Driver Development Fund to assist their professional journey.
Creating a Sustainable Talent Pipeline
Ameet Gadhoke, Managing Director of Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited, emphasized the importance of building a robust talent pipeline for India to excel in global motorsport arenas like Formula 1. He stated, "The F1 Sim Racing India Open is designed to foster awareness and talent at the grassroots level. The trials provide aspiring racers with firsthand experience of professional F1 simulators, helping them assess their potential and decide on a structured motorsport career path, progressing through zonal and national stages to eventually enter professional karting."
Event Format and Participation
The F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026 will be contested on F1 25, the official game of the FIA Formula One World Championship, and is accessible to participants on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. During the Delhi Time Trials, competitors will race on identical professional-grade simulation rigs using the official title, with successful racers moving on to the Zonal Qualifiers, ultimately competing for a spot in the National Final in Mumbai.
This championship is part of MFRL's broader F1 India Programme, which includes the One in a Billion Hunt and the Flagship Partner School initiative.
