GIVEMESPORT reports that Harry Kane is set to sign a contract extension with FC Bayern after productive talks. The 33-year-old striker is now in the final year of his deal at the Rekordmeister.
As per Ben Jacobs, Kane will restart discussions with FC Bayern this summer over the new agreement. FC Barcelona and Al-Hilal both made enquiries about the England captain, but they understand that Kane wants to remain in the Bundesliga.
FC Bayern are calm about Kane’s future, as there are no options to activate the previous €65 million release clause reported by some outlets this summer. Kane is a strong contender to win the 2025/26 Ballon d’Or after his excellent campaigns with FC Bayern and England.
Kane has scored 64 goals for Bayern since the start of the Club World Cup last summer. Overall, he has scored 146 times in 147 appearances for the Bavarians. He also became England’s all-time top scorer in the World Cup after his six goals helped the Three Lions to their best-ever finish since the 1966 triumph.
