Another important step has been taken in the capital towards making Delhi clean, healthy and beautiful. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the door-to-door waste collection project from Janakpuri. On this occasion, he flagged off special tipper trucks to collect garbage from door to door.

Delhi Government Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood and Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) Mayor Parvesh Wahi were also present in this program. The government says that this campaign will prove to be a big step towards making solid waste management more effective, transparent and systematic in the capital.
