The countdown to the global launch of Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' has officially begun!

The film's leading stars Ranbir Kapoor and Yash arrived at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 on Wednesday afternoon, ahead of the film's grand trailer debut. Photos of the two actors at the event have surfaced online hours before the big presentation, giving fans their first glimpse of their cool look before presenting their film at the pop culture convention.

Dressed to impress in Indian suits, Ranbir and Yash were seen posing for photos with media personnel after participating in a round of interviews before heading to the film's highly anticipated panel discussion.

Yash, who plays the villain Ravana, sported a black suit with a crisp black button-down shirt, showing off his gold chain and a golden trishul as his lapel pin.

The actors were all smiles for the photos as they greeted members of the international press ahead of what is being touted as one of the biggest showcases for an Indian film at Comic-Con.

'Ramayana' heads to Ballroom 20The 'Ramayana' presentation is scheduled to take place in the 4,800-seat Ballroom 20, with the hour-long panel hosted by entertainment journalist Coy Jandreau.

Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are also expected to join Ranbir and Yash on stage to discuss the ambitious adaptation, its vision and the process of bringing the Indian epic to the global screen.

According to reports, attendees will be treated to the film's official trailer, along with exclusive never-before-seen footage during the presentation.

The panel is scheduled to take place between 3:15 AM and 4:15 AM IST on July 24, when the trailer is expected to premiere for audiences attending Comic-Con in San Diego.

'Ramayana' gets special mentionIn another impressive listing for the production, 'Ramayana' received a dedicated mention in Comic-Con 2026's "Indian Highlight" programme. The official timetable describes the event as, "A global showcase of India's epic saga. Ballroom 20, July 23, 2026, 3.30 PM. Team Appearance, exclusive footage and Q&A."


The film shares Comic-Con's schedule alongside major international franchises including 'Avengers: Doomsday', 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power', 'Blade Runner 2099', 'Wolverine', 'The Walking Dead: Dead City', and several other high-profile titles.

'Ramayana' trailer India releaseWhile the Comic-Con debut is expected to take place in the early hours of Friday (IST), a screenshot circulating online from PVR Pictures' official handle suggests the trailer could receive a 10 AM IST release across digital platforms and participating cinemas on July 24.
