Former Indian cricket star Sachin Tendulkar recently expressed his solidarity with the student protests happening nationwide. Renowned as one of the greatest cricketers in history, Tendulkar emphasized the importance of listening to the voices of the youth. He reflected on the wisdom imparted by his late father, who was an educator, stressing the need for society to reject shortcuts and uphold meritocracy.

At 53, Tendulkar shared, "My father, a professor, guided many students. He taught me that while failure is acceptable, cheating is not. We must not allow shortcuts to overshadow hard work." He highlighted the collective responsibility of adults to foster a culture that values effort over mere results.

Showing compassion for the students' frustrations, he acknowledged their feelings of disappointment when hard work goes unrecognized. "It’s crucial that we unite to ensure they don’t experience this again. Young India is brimming with dreams and potential, serving as the backbone of our future success. Parents, educators, and the community must all play their part in motivating and uplifting our youth.
