Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke has clearly said that his movement will continue to move forward completely on the path of peace and non-violence. Along with this, CJP has also made a serious allegation that internet services have been suddenly stopped around the protest site, due to which big questions are being raised on the intentions of the government. The party has sarcastically asked whether the government is once again preparing for some big and strict action against the agitators?
Serious allegation of shutting down internet service at Jantar Mantar
Cockroach Janata Party on Wednesday made a sensational allegation that internet services have been completely halted in Jantar Mantar and its surrounding areas. Taking the government to task, the party asked whether the administration is going to use police force once again to suppress this movement? CJP founder Abhijit Deepke shared the post on social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Internet services have been stopped at Jantar Mantar. Is the government now preparing another harsh and repressive action?”
Appeal to police and security forces to maintain peace
Seeing the seriousness of the situation, Abhijeet Deepke has made a special appeal to the police and paramilitary forces deployed at the protest site. He asked the soldiers to avoid using any kind of force against the protesters. Deepke appealed that the orders to take action against innocent and peaceful protestors should not be followed and should stand with the people of the country. He once again reiterated that this entire movement of CJP will be completely peaceful and on the path of non-violence.
Protest continues for third day after ‘Sansad Chalo’ march
This entire incident has come to light at a time when, after the famous ‘Sansad ‘Chalo’ march taken out on July 20, the protesting students are standing at Jantar Mantar for the third consecutive day and are continuing their dharna. Let us tell you that during that march, when the protesters were trying to move towards the Parliament House, the Delhi Police took a tough stance and resorted to lathicharge to stop them and also released tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
Police and CJP face to face over use of force
In this entire matter, the tension between the police and the Cockroach Janata Party can be clearly seen. CJP’s direct allegation is that the police have used excessive and brutal force against the students and protesters. On the other hand, Delhi Police has its own stand that the protesters had tried to break the security cordon and disturb the law and order, due to which they were forced to take this action.
Sonam Wangchuk said – ‘If I get Bharrosa, I will break my fast today itself’
Amidst this entire incident, well-known environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk has also given a big statement on Wednesday. He has said that if he gets a firm assurance from the Central Government that no force will be used again against the protesting students nor will any FIR or other punitive legal action be taken against them, then he will end his fast unto death immediately. Wangchuk also shared that he has lost about 11 kilograms of weight during this long fast, and now he wants to get back to his health and return to his important work.
