Mrunal Thakur Speechless After Meeting Students From Maharashtra Amid CJP Protest: What Do I Tell Them?

Mrunal Thakur has come out in support of students’ protest led by the Cockroach Janata Party in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities of the country. She condemned the lathi charge on students in Delhi during the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march. Amidst all, the Dacoit actress recently shared a viral video of a young man holding a poster of his late brother, who appeared for the NEET examination in May 2026, which eventually got cancelled due to paper leak. He joined the protest to seek justice for his brother, who died by suicide. Mrunal took to her Instagram story and penned a note in Marathi, in which the actress revealed how she was left speechless after meeting students from Maharashtra’s Dhule and Nashik.

Mrunal was left speechless after hearing their questions. She wrote, “Kay sangu tyaana? (What do I tell them?)" The Do Deewane Seher Mein actress is very much concerned about the students’ well-being and the education system.

Celebs Supporting CJP Protest

 
Ever since the -led students’ protest started in Delhi on July 20, many celebrities came out in support of them. However, the lathi-charge incident and detention of several students in Delhi broke the hearts of many people.
Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj and others joined the protest in Delhi and Mumbai. Many celebrities like Rajkummar Rao, Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Honey Singh ,and others condemned the lathi charge on students in Delhi. Shabana Azmi’s health deteriorated during the protest.
On the other hand, TV actor Sehban Azim got injured during a lathi charge in Delhi. He had gone to support students with two of his female friends from Mumbai. Apart from that, Gurfateh Pirzada and Pratibha Ranta also joined the protest in Mumbai.

Why Are Students Protesting In India?

 
Students came out on the street for peaceful protest after NEET question papers allegedly got leaked. Activist Sonam Wangchuk has also been on hunger strike for more than 24 days to seek justice for students and bring revolution in the education system. The youth is demanding accountability over the issue that affected the dreams of many students. The Delhi Police stopped the students’ mob entering the Parliament House on July 20.
