Bollywood stars, including Sonakshi Sinha, Kabir Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, and others, have been actively voicing their support for the student protests over the NEET paper leak scandal. Shabana Azmi, Pratibha Ranta, and a few other stars even joined the protesting students on the streets of Mumbai and Delhi, showing their solidarity. Actress Preity Zinta has once again reacted to the ongoing protests. In a tweet, she urged students to maintain peace while demanding education reforms. She also said that these peaceful demonstrations should not be "hijacked by anti-national elements."

  stated, "While it’s important to support our students and ask for educational reforms that positively impact the future of our youth, it’s also very important that peaceful protests by students are not hijacked by anti national elements to create chaos & change the nature of the protest." She expressed concern over the growing hate and division online, saying that it made her wonder whether negative forces within and outside the country had started working to "weaponise" the anger and frustration among students.

The Batwara 1947 actress added that she had always believed in hard work, equality, and excellence and said these values should never be compromised. She also expressed her faith in democracy and the government while hoping that both sides would engage in dialogue. "I also believe in our democracy, law and order & our government, therefore I sincerely hope that both sides enter into meaningful & constructive dialogue & weed out any nefarious elements & agendas out of this protest & conversation, so the future is bright for our youth and for our democracy! Jai Hind," concluded Zinta.

This isn't the first time the actress has voiced her support for the students and their case. Recently, she requested the government to initiate a meaningful dialogue with activist Sonam Wangchuk and student bodies to ensure that his health did not deteriorate further. She had also urged him to end his fast, stating that his health was as important as the cause he was fighting for. She added that Sonam and the students were fighting for the future of India and its youth.

Extending her support to the ongoing movement,  said that she stood with every student and Wangchuk in their fight to uplift and improve the education system. She had also wished them strength and support in their efforts.

Meanwhile, her Batwara 1947 co-star  has been making headlines for joining students at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. She was part of the Chalo Sansad rally, which witnessed chaos and violence. The veteran actress was rushed out of the venue after suffering an asthma attack.
