Delhi Police has started strict action after the violence during the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) demonstration in the national capital Delhi. The total number of cases so far in the case of alleged attack on a Rapid Action Force (RAF) soldier by a mob during a protest 10 firs Have been registered. Police are trying to identify the accused on the basis of CCTV cameras and various video footage.

According to the information, the situation suddenly became tense during the demonstration in Connaught Place and Jantar Mantar area on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, an RAF soldier on duty was surrounded by the mob and beaten up. The soldier was seriously injured in the attack. Security agencies were immediately activated after the incident and additional police forces were deployed in the entire area.

According to Delhi Police, 10 FIRs have been registered so far in various cases of violence, damage to government property, attacking policemen and disturbing law and order. Of these, maximum four cases have been registered in Sansad Marg police station. Apart from this, three cases have been registered in Connaught Place police station and one case each in Mandir Marg, Barakhamba Road and Dutva Path police stations.

Police said that a separate FIR has also been registered in the case of illegally flying a drone in the restricted area during the demonstration. There is a ban on flying drones around Parliament and other sensitive government establishments due to security reasons. In this case, action is being taken under the provisions to disobeying government orders.

The investigating agencies are examining CCTV footage, mobile videos and other digital evidence of the incident site. Police say that every person involved in the violence will be identified and action will be taken against them as per law.

The major sections under which Delhi Police has registered cases include obstructing a public servant, disobedience to government order, assault on a public servant, unlawful assembly, riot, incitement to riot, attempt to murder, damaging public and private property and sections of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act (PDPP Act).

Police officials say that maintaining law and order in the capital is the top priority. No person will be allowed to indulge in violence, damage government property or attack security forces. All cases are being investigated impartially and strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty.

After this incident in Delhi, security arrangements have been made more strict. Additional police forces have been deployed in sensitive areas and the situation is being constantly monitored. The police have appealed to the citizens to maintain peace and not pay attention to any kind of rumours.
