The woman alleged that the cricketer lured her into marriage by getting physical with her and filming their private moments. “A pen drive has been seized from the petitioner. Certain evidences found on the pen drive prove that Porel’s electronic equipment needs to be arrested so that its data is not shared with others,” the court said in its order.

According to a report in ‘The Indian Express’, From Delhi Capitals Abhishek Porel, the player, had contacted the complainant woman in January 2023, after which the two started communicating. The 23-year-old cricketer allegedly took the woman to his flat in Mankundu while his parents were out of town.

The complainant alleged that Porel forcibly had physical relations with her. Although marriage was discussed between the two families later, the complainant later alleged that she came to know that Porel was also having physical relations with other women.

Complaint filed with Mogra Police

According to the complaint filed with the Mogra police, “Abhishek Porel illegally detained the petitioner, prevented her from eating and deliberately isolated her. As a result of this incident which took place in Delhi on 2nd April, 2026, the petitioner became extremely weak and could not walk properly. Despite her scheduled flight the next day, the injuries caused the petitioner to seek immediate medical attention.”
