Marvel Entertainment has outed that first trailer for Avengers: Doomsdaygiving fans a sneak peek of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest crossover ever like.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is supposed to land in theatres on December 18.
It was shown only to CinemaCon attendees back in April and this two-minute-and-26-second trailer is now out for everyone and it pulls together almost every big Marvel hero to square off against a pretty formidable new problem with Doctor Doom in the mix.
Doom is played by Robert Downey Jr. in that very anticipated return to the MCU and honestly it all feels a bit like it’s been waiting for a while.
In the trailer Chris Hemsworth’s Thor seems to be pushing his fellow heroes to link up again “as brothers and sisters” before everything spirals into that multiverse wide conflict being engineered by Doctor Doom.
The trailer hints at Thor’s showdown with Doctor Doom and also the long-awaited comeback of Chris Evans back into the MCU as Steve Rogers a few years after Avengers: Endgame.
The promo also kind of hints at the possible arrival of Captain Hydra sort of like a face off moment within the MCU i mean a showdown with Thor.
The trailer signals the official crossover where a bunch of iconic characters from Fox’s X-Men world slide into the MCU like Professor Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, Cyclops and even Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
On top of that the Fantastic Four step in too plus the Thunderbolts are showing up it’s like everyone is thrown into the same messy brawl.
