Rishab Shetty, who shot to nationwide fame with Kantara, is set to headline the prestigious historical epic Chhatrapati Shivaji: The Pride of Bharat. Directed by Sandeep Singh, the film is being made as a two-part saga with a massive budget of around Rs. 500 crores. To authentically showcase Shivaji Maharaj’s military strategies and battle sequences on a global scale, the makers have roped in Hollywood action designer Mark Henson and his team, known for their work on internationally acclaimed projects like Game of Thrones and Vikings, says a report in Variety India. For this ambitious project, Rishab Shetty will undergo a complete makeover. He will join the film’s shoot after wrapping up Jai Hanuman. The movie will be extensively filmed at several historic locations across Maharashtra and features a star-studded cast. Shefali Shah will portray Rajmata Jijabai, the mother of Shivaji Maharaj, while Vivek Oberoi will essay the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Arjun Rampal is also a part of this film.
