There is a very relief news for those Muslim pilgrims of Uttar Pradesh who due to some reason could not fill the form for Haj pilgrimage till now. On the special initiative of the State Government, the Central Government has extended the last date of online application for Haj-2027. Now interested applicants will be able to register themselves till 24th July 2026. This decision has been taken after the activism of Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Danish Azad Ansari, due to which thousands of left out people have got another chance.
Actually, this time in Uttar Pradesh, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the people regarding Haj pilgrimage. If the figures are to be believed, a record 19,280 applications have been received from UP within the first deadline. Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee believes that this is the first time in the last nine years that such a large number of people have applied for Haj within the stipulated time. Now that the date has been extended till July 24, the committee hopes that the total number of applications may cross 25 thousand to 30 thousand.
Increased confidence in Yogi government’s system
Experts on Haj matters say that this bumper number of applications is not without reason. The reason behind this are the arrangements made last year i.e. during Haj-2026. The way the government had provided transparent, safe and well-organized facilities to the Haj pilgrims, the result of this is that people’s confidence has increased this time. Due to timely operation of flights, better medical facilities and prompt assistance, record breaking Haj applications are being seen this time.
Minister of State Danish Azad Ansari has expressed happiness over this success. He said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is committed to providing all possible facilities and respectable arrangements to the Haj pilgrims. According to the minister, this time we have made the application process much easier, which has directly benefited the common people. Along with this, people were helped by running an awareness campaign at the district level.
a collective effort
Danish Azad Ansari has not given the credit of this big success to any one person but to the entire team. He has patted the back of Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar as well as members, officers, employees and district administration of Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee. Apart from this, he also expressed gratitude to Ulema-e-Kiram, Muslim organizations and social workers, who came down to the ground and made people aware.
Don’t wait for the last date
Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee has appealed that those who want to go on a pilgrimage to Pakistan should not wait for the last date. Complete your application on time to avoid server problems or any technical glitch. The Minister of State has also expressed confidence that there will be a huge increase in the number of applications in the coming days, due to which a record number of people from UP will be able to go on Haj pilgrimage this time.
