'Toxic' trailer: Makers to launch Yash starrer's trailer at a grand Bengaluru event - Report

Rocking Star Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic’ is set to hit the big screens on August 26. The project remains one of the most anticipated films fans have been waiting for. If the latest reports are to be believed the team is likely to drop the film’s trailer early next month.
‘Toxic’ trailer release buzzAccording to a report by Gulte, the makers are planning to release the film’s trailer on August 8, 2026. The report also states that the makers are planning to hold a grand trailer launch event in Bengaluru. As of now, there has been no official announcement from the film’s team regarding its release.
About ‘Toxic’Speaking about the film, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is co-written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film is a gangster action thriller set in Goa. Apart from Yash, the film stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari, and several other actors in important roles.
‘Toxic’ release plans‘Toxic’ was originally planned for a March 19, 2026 release before being postponed to June 4. The release was later pushed once again to secure a better worldwide release window. The film is now officially scheduled to hit theatres on August 26, 2026.
As the makers have recently shared a teaser introducing the female leads. They also unveiled visuals from the romantic song ‘Tabaahi’, featuring Yash and Kiara Advani.
Team of ‘Toxic’The music and background score of Toxic are composed by Ravi Basrur. International stunt choreographer JJ Perry has designed several action sequences, while the Anbariv duo has choreographed some of the film's action scenes. The cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi.
The film has been shot in Kannada and English and will also be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil.
