Who is Anika Jamal?

Introduction of Anika Jamal: Pakistani beauty Anika Meraj, also known as Anika Jamal Iqbal, has recently won the title of ‘Miss World Pakistan 2026’ in Lahore. This 24 year old talented girl has now got the opportunity to represent Pakistan in the Miss World competition to be held in Vietnam. This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a woman is officially participating in Miss World.

Anika’s struggle

Anika’s journey has not been easy. In a country like Pakistan, where fashion and beauty pageants are often opposed by fundamentalist groups, she showed courage. She was crowned by Dr. Shafaq Akhtar (Miss Pakistan Universal 2022) and Mister Pakistan World Attaullah Gujjar at the ceremony held at Falletti Hotel, Lahore. This occasion is special for Pakistan as the 75th anniversary edition of Miss World is being held in Vietnam.

Anika’s Achievements

Anika has already brought glory to Pakistan in many important competitions. She has participated in pageants such as Miss Earth, Miss Global, Miss Cosmo, Miss Eco International and Miss Aura International. At ‘Miss Freedom of the World’ in Kosovo, she won four titles, including Miss Photogenic and Miss Press. These achievements have become a source of inspiration for Pakistani girls.

Education and future dreams

Anika’s Educational Background: Anika is not just a girl with a pretty face. She is a graduate in Business and Economics and is currently pursuing her Masters in Accounting and Auditing. His dream is to become a State Authorized Public Accountant. Along with this, she wants to work on children’s rights, girls’ education and social issues. She will use the Miss World platform to spread awareness about diseases like Thalassemia, which is a serious problem in Pakistan.
