The wait is finally over. Amitabh Bachchan, who continues to entertain audiences at the age of 83, is all set to return to the small screen with Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18. Sony TV officially announced the new season by sharing multiple promos on social media. KBC 18 will premiere on August 10, 2026.

The channel shared several promos on its Instagram handle, hinting that the quiz show will feature a major twist this season.

In the first promo, Big B says, “Everyone’s knowledge of history, history, sport, science will not be enough in KBC this time. Because now the sport has changed. Only remembering the answer will not help, you will have to think.” (Knowledge of geography, history, sports and science alone will not be enough in KBC this time. In the second promo, the veteran actor says, “Look, today AI has changed the world, and this change is not going to stop. What seemed impossible then, has become possible today. Apart from Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, Amitabh Bachchan has two officially announced films in the pipeline—Section 84 and the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. While Section 84 has been in development for the past couple of years and is yet to be released, Kalki 2 remains one of the most-awaited upcoming films and is slated to hit theatres in 2027.
