(This Gmail trick is amazing)

Tech Tip: Gmail has become one of the most essential tools for people these days. You receive important emails, from the office to the bank, through Gmail. However, it's often seen that some emails automatically end up in spam. This often results in people not seeing important emails on time or even missing them. But today, we're going to tell you about a setting that will allow all your emails to appear in your inbox and not go to spam.

Why do important emails go to Spam?

According to reports, Gmail now has an AI feature called a spam filter. This feature works to identify suspicious and fraudulent emails. However, sometimes the system mistakenly considers legitimate emails as spam. This can happen if the email comes from a new address, its content appears promotional, or if a similar email has been previously marked as spam.

Use Filter

For your information, if you frequently receive emails from a specific person or company, creating a Gmail filter for them will be a great help. To do this, first open Gmail on your computer and click the Show search options icon in the search bar.

Now, enter the relevant email address in the From box and click Create filter. Select the Never send it to Spam option. Finally, click Create filter again. Messages from that email address will now be sent directly to your inbox.

How to get your email back

If an important email ends up in Spam, you can easily return it to your inbox. You'll need to follow a few simple steps.

Open Gmail on your computer.

After this, open the Spam folder by clicking on More on the left.

Now open the email you need.

Now click on the Not spam option visible above.

After this, Gmail will start recognizing messages coming from the same email address and the chances of them going to Spam will be reduced.

How to set up the mobile app

These days, most people have Gmail open on their smartphones. The option to create filters isn't currently available in the mobile app. However, emails that land in Spam can be redirected back to the appropriate category. To do this, open the Gmail app and go to the Spam folder. Open the relevant email here and tap the three dots at the top. Select Report not spam or Not spam.
