What is this Pre-Examination Training (PET)?
First-time candidates often worry about what the computer-based test will be like or how to manage their time effectively. SBI organizes this free training program to address these concerns.
This training is conducted entirely online.
Its purpose is to familiarize you with the exam pattern, the interface displayed on the computer screen, the types of questions, and time management strategies.
Please note that this training carries no marks, and participation is not mandatory; it is simply an aid to strengthen your preparation.
Who can participate?
This training is specifically organized for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), or minority communities.
Scheduled Castes (SC)
Scheduled Tribes (ST)
Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer)
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
Candidates from eligible minority communities
Additionally, a prerequisite is that you must have opted for 'Pre-Examination Training' when filling out the online application form. Admit cards have been issued only to those candidates who selected this option during the application process.
What is the SBI PO selection process? This year, SBI is recruiting for a total of 1,500 Probationary Officer (PO) positions across the country.
Candidates must go through three stages for this process:
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
Stage 2: Main Examination (Objective and Descriptive Tests)

If you are eligible for this training, download your call letter without delay and participate in the training to understand the nuances of the examination. All the best!
