The half-yearly OTT viewership report is out, and despite facing heavy criticism during its theatrical run, Prabhas’ horror comedy The Raja Saab has emerged as the most-watched South Indian film of 2026 so far. The list of the top 10 most-viewed South Indian films on OTT during the first half of 2026 shows The Raja Saab comfortably holding the No. 1 position. Although the film had a disappointing run at the box office, Prabhas has once again proved that his digital pull remains unmatched. Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab arrived in theatres amid massive expectations. However, it struggled to recover its huge budget and eventually ended up as a commercial disappointment. Its performance on OTT, however, tells a completely different story. The Prabhas-starrer reportedly recorded a massive 17.5 million views on JioHotstar, more than double the viewership of the film in second place. While Telugu cinema claimed the top spot, Malayalam cinema displayed remarkable consistency, with four films entering the top 10. The numbers once again show that a film’s theatrical failure does not always limit its digital performance. In the case of The Raja Saab, Prabhas’ star power appears to have helped the film achieve a massive second life on OTT.
