Tezzbuzz Desk – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in power at the Center has made another change in its working style. The name of the regular meeting of the NDA parliamentary party has now been changed to ‘Mangal Milan’. The first start of this meeting with the new name is going to take place on 21st July.

The NDA Parliamentary Party meeting is usually held on Tuesday during the Parliament session. Now this tradition will be carried forward with a new name. According to the information, ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting will be held in the Parliament House at 9:30 am on July 21, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the NDA MPs.

Many names were changed earlier also in Modi government

The names of many important places and buildings have been changed during the NDA governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The government has been saying that these changes have been made with the aim of reflecting Indian culture, heritage and modern thinking.

Race Course Road becomes Lok Kalyan Marg

The road containing the official residence of the Prime Minister during the first term of the Modi government Race Course Road by changing the name of Lok Kalyan Marg Was done. After this change in September 2016, the address of the Prime Minister’s residence became known as Lok Kalyan Marg.

Path of duty from Rajpath

During the second term of the Modi government, the name of the historic road Rajpath of the capital Delhi was changed to Duty Path. After this change in September 2022, this route leading from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan started being recognized by a new name.

Central Secretariat got a new name

The process of changing the name continued even in the third term of the Modi government. The Central Government changed the name of the Central Secretariat to Dutva Bhavan. Along with this, South Block, where the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is located, was named Seva Teerth.

Dutta Bhavan has been designed in a modern manner under the Central Vista Redevelopment Project. The offices of many important government departments have been shifted to one place here.

Now naming the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting as ‘Mangal Milan’ is also being seen as a part of this change, where the alliance meetings will be conducted with the new name.
